Some of my favorite moments in life are going on photo-safaris with my best friend and husband.  This was taken on 5/19/12, Darren's birthday when we went out to enjoy some time together.  

We had not been to the North Portland area much at all so on this day we found ourselves in the area of Russel and Interstate.  This was a pretty cool angle of the Fremont Bridge so I grabbed a shot.  

The other find was the White Eagle bar.  A haunted bar that Darren had heard about and I had seen on TV as being haunted.  We just kind of stumbled upon it so decided to stop in and have a beverage.  It is a cute little place that is a live music venue with open mics.  We will definitely be back to check that out sometime.

Darren and I spent some time at Laurelhurst Park today (which is a most beautiful park in PDX) and spent some time taking photos. This boy was feeding this Canadian Goose and we were talking a bit. He asked if I would take his picture while he fed the goose. So, here it is.

Longing

I have not much to say except I am longing to be back here.  There is nothing like a Hawaiian sunset!
